4 steps to recruitment success


Our 4 practical steps will give you skills and confidence to recruit and welcome new volunteers and support girl recruitment in your area.

Who

This day is suitable for people with the following type of roles or interests:

  • Commissioners at all levels
  • District or division administrators with an interest or responsibility for recruitment of volunteers
  • County and division membership growth coordinators
  • Communications and PR advisers at all levels
  • Trainers with an interest in membership growth
  • Any volunteer with an interest or who is enthusiastic about growing guiding in their local area

Details

  • You’ll improve your skills so you can recruit and welcome new volunteers more effectively.
  • Together we will strengthen our organisation by recruiting more volunteers to offer more spaces to girls and young women.
  • We’ll give you practical tools such as Our Plan data, posters and PR materials, support you to use GO effectively and help you set your own goals and actions for recruitment drives in your local area.

Dates

An in person training day on Saturday 23 November 2024 at Stuart House, Kings Lynn, Norfolk (easy access for A17, A47, A10), book here.

We are also running an online course in January/February 2025, more details can be found here.

Cost?

Sessions are free however spaces are limited so please book a ticket by clicking any of the dates above. This will take you to the relevant Eventbrite booking page.

Don’t forget that whilst there is no cost for you to attend if you cancel we will have incurred costs on your behalf so please bear that in mind when booking. Your booking for a face-to-face event is subject to our terms and conditions which do include a clause about cancelling your place at a free event.
