Property Fund
Funding is awarded either as a grant or loan for projects such as new buildings and extensions or repairs, modifications or demolition of existing headquarters.
What is the Property Fund for?
The Property Fund is for projects such as new buildings and extensions or repairs, modifications or demolition of existing headquarters. Funds from the Property Fund can be awarded as a grant or loan in support of your project. Should you be awarded a loan, this would be for a three year term. The full conditions of any loan would be provided upon agreement of the facility.
Criteria for applying:
It is a condition of a grant or loan from the Girlguiding Anglia Property Fund that the property is vested either in The Guide Association Trust Corporation, or in The Scout Association Trust Corporation under the terms of the joint Trust Deed.
- No grant or loan will be made where there is a mortgage or legal charge on the property.
- If the property is leasehold, the length of time the lease has to run at the time of the grant or loan application will be taken into consideration.
- Full details of funds raised or pledged to date will be required, particularly local fundraising initiatives.
- Full details of the project including costs and quotes will be required (where available).
Who can apply for the Property Fund?
Grants and/or loans are available to units, districts, divisions and counties.
