What is the annual subscription used for?
The money is used to develop the guiding programme and badges, including insurance and safeguarding plus the costs of running our local area
How do I find my subscription invoice?
First log in to GO. From there follow the link to ‘£subscriptions’ in the second line
When do I need to pay my subs?
Please be aware that any cheques received at the finance team (trading services) after 28 March 2025 will not be processed and will be destroyed – so ensure that payment is made in time to be cleared by that date.
Which District am I in?
When you log in to Go the ‘parent level’ is stated next to your unit’s name.
Who is my local commissioner?
Within Go, use the ‘directory’ tab and in alphabetical order find district commissioner / (designate) and find your district.
What if my local commissioner doesn’t respond?
That would be a shame, but you will then need to access the division or then county commissioner for the information/help that you need.
Do I have to pay by cheque?
No you don't have to, you can also pay by debit card online. Once the online card payment has been processed you can download your fully paid invoice immediately and any time until noon on 30 September 2025.
How do I get a receipt for my accounts?
Once your invoice shows 'Paid in full' your Subscription 2025 official invoice has been paid. You should download and print and/or save this invoice as your receipt. Receipts will only be available until noon on 30 September 2025.

What if the unit doesn’t have enough money to pay the requested amount?
In Anglia region, unit leaders can apply for our unit support fund. This is a grant of up to £400 that can be used to help cover the cost of subscriptions. Full information and the application pack is available now through our website.
